- My family and I have been renting at the same address for six years. Our landlord decided to sell. She gave me first choice. My credit was not good enough. We have till August 6, 2009 to find a home. I would like to buy. I was told I could rent to own. I am 30 years old, and I am married. My husband is disabled. We have two kids. I work at Cracker Barrel. And I am currently going to school for nursing.
