More about me:
2 years ago I lost my home to forclosure because my husband and I trusted in a man who did our taxes and was getting into real estate. Come to find out he was a scam artist and now we have lost our home and we are living in a house that was part of this scam in another womans name who is a victim , and now we are facing foreclosure of this house.
Being that we now have a foreclosure on our credit we have been told we have to rent for 24 months before we can get financed 100% for another house.
We are not having much luck and we feel lost and very uneducated. I am here to learn what I can do and what not to do in this market.
I have two little girls who mean the world to me and we just want to be happy and in our own home.

Hi Ann,

Thanks for the post on my wall.

I grew up with the understanding that jobs are not secure. This put me out of phase with everyone who was telling to get a job. My reasoning being that when I work for someone else, they hold the strings to my financial security and income. When I work for myself I have the freedom to adapt to changing seasons and circumstances and that makes me feel far more secure - not to mention that I don't have someone else setting their ceiling over my head.

So my suggestion is to look wider than the job market, which is only going to become more stressed in the future.

Keep this in mind. Every problem creates a need for a solution. The bigger the problem the greater the need and therefore the greater the opportunity. So when things get bad, they actually get really good if you know how to look and where to look.

Take the realty market as an example. Millions of realtors are struggling to make ends meet. Thousands of brokers are struggling to keep their agency going. So long as they keep hanging onto the mindset that their old way is the only way, they will continue to struggle. However, as soon as they realize the potential of the opportunity, they can be helped and they can prosper - which is what I am doing - which is why I have no fear of cyclical market crashes.

Hope that helps. You are welcome to contact me if you want more info.

Regards,

Guy
