HUD Foreclosed - Foreclosure Network

What I want to know is why are all the homes I have seen already sold. I mean, if a property is sold in January, why is it still listed in March? I have been on this site foe 2 months now, and I have not found any in my price range that are still open, and I'm about ready to drop this site, cuz I'm spending money and not getting anywhere. So, can someone please explain this to me?

You will find this is the case with any company who handles foreclosure and real estate listings, unless they are a small, local real estate agency handling specific properties. It is a very complicated process to collect this kind of information and requires many different steps and levels to bring it together on one site. If it wasn't, there wouldn't be a niche and HUDforeclosed could not exist.

In any case, what I'm saying is that list freshness starts with the agent/seller, and can degenerate anywhere along the line. HUDForeclosed has a list 'scrubber' in place to ensure our lists are as up-to-date as possible.

However, even with such sophisticated technology in place, there are always going to be properties that slip through. If, for example, a seller fails to report their property as sold to our list providers, you will run into some homes that are a few months old. Sometimes this is done deliberately, as a method of 'advertising,' and sometimes it's purely a seller's oversight.

I hope this helps, Thomas.
