Curious about what your neighborhood content is and where you get it from...how is it different from census data?

Some of the data likely comes from the Census; it's a very good source of public information. Census data only paints part of the picture, however. It includes information about the number of families in an area, the labor force there, etc. Neighborhood content, as it relates to our site, includes demographic information regarding schools, crime statistics, and other aspects of living users might find valuable when deciding on a home. I hope this helps!
Thanks for your response...but I'm a little confused. If you are displaying this content in your reports and on the site then you must know where you are sourcing it from.

Census data is typically old and out of date, and the values you show don't seem to match census statistics. There are also some interesting items like the Education Climate that I've never seen on a census site.

It's important to me that I understand the validity of any content that I might subscribe to or use in my business. If you can provide a fuller answer, I'd appreciate it.

Thanks!
Hi,

Unfortunately, I'm not at liberty to provide more information with regards to our specific sources; I would be violating certain company policies if I disclosed this kind of information to the general public. The company also does not provide this kind of information to regular employees, nor do I know how recent the information we have is.

All I can say is that Government-provided information (i.e. the Census) is the most up-to-date and most trusted resource available on the net. We may or may not use their content, however. I wish I had a better answer for your question.

Best of Luck!
