What price range are you interested in staying under. Also could you provide more info like how many bedrroms/baths etc. just give me little more info and I will get started trying to track down some help for you.

Hi Nancy,

I'm not sure if you've browsed our Listings yet, but I do see that you're a Premium member, so you should definitely check out our inventory.

I went ahead and did a quick search for you, for condos and single-family homes with a minimum of 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms (in case s/he wants to rent out the other room to help you pay the monthly mortgage, or to just have a friend/housemate while in school), between the prices of $50,000 and $200,000, specifically in Savannah, GA. Within that search criteria, I returned (currently) 24 properties for sale. Since your child is likely already living in Savannah for school, you can probably have him/her run around and look at places that don't have a photo (if s/he has a digital camera, s/he can even email you pictures), just to see if you even want to spend the time having your real estate agent get you more information on the properties. The real estate agent you select should also handle Savannah properties (and have foreclosure experience if you're after foreclosure property, as so many of us are these days).
